Mr. Lonely
The radio station in my car is permanently stuck on Radio Disney. Thanks kids. I mean it’s not permanently stuck, it’s just that I never change the channel even if I’m in the car by myself. Sad, but true.
I’ve noticed lately that this one particular song “Mr. Lonely” almost ALWAYS comes on when I’m in the car. I thought it was a cute song - I actually thought like Alvin and the Chipmunks sang it. But no, today I finally figured out it was Akon who sings it. REALLY? Akon is on Radio Disney? That just seems so….wrong!?
But I can’t help it, I love this song…and I still think it sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks…

I had trouble launching the YouTube player here but YES, Akon on Radio Disney? Wonder if they’ll ever put ‘Smack That’ in rotation.

I’m just sittin’ here wondering how pissed off Akon would be if he knew I thought his song sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks? Akon and the Chipmunks maybe? LOL Sorry dude!

Not only does he SOUND like a chipmunk but kinda’ could pass as one too. Again, sorry Akon! Love your work, just not on radio Disney.
